Hi! I’m Bibz 🙂
I’m the “BIBZ STORE” brand owner and designer of the “Poppies headscarf”. I’m glad you’re here to read about why being a child of God matters.
I became a Christian at 14. My mom was a Christian and kept telling me about God. At first, I didn’t believe, but one day I felt a spark in my heart and just knew He was real, after hearing the Bible and watching a video of a man get healed from a tumor. After that I accepted Jesus as my savior and the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) started living inside me, guiding me in everything, even starting this company.
Who is the Holy Spirit? Christians believe God exists in three forms:
- Father – Creator of the world
- Son (Jesus) – God Himself who died for our sins
- Holy Spirit – God’s Spirit living in Christians, helping us follow Him
So, why become a child of God?
- Have you ever felt lonely, unloved, or unsure of your life’s purpose?
- Do you need unconditional love?
If yes, please continue reading.
I come from a broken family. My parents divorced when I was 1. That left me craving love and struggling with trauma from childhood. But Jesus healed my heart and gave me a new life.
I’m from a broken family. My parents divorced when I was 1. That led me to a broken relationship with my father and having a stressed mother. It also led me to craiving love that I couldn’t get. I also had traumatic events happen when I was 8 years old that led me to things a child shouldn’t see. That led me to toxic behaviour when I was a teenager and later on in life.
Here’s what the Bible says about this:
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
“Varas ei tule muu pärast kui varastama ja tapma ja hukkama. Mina olen tulnud, et neil oleks elu, ja oleks seda ülirohkesti.” — Johannese 10:10
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16
“Sest nõnda on Jumal maailma armastanud, et ta oma ainusündinud Poja on andnud, et ükski, kes temasse usub, ei hukkuks, vaid et tal oleks igavene elu.” — Johannese 3:16
The thief mentioned here is the devil, who comes to destroy our lives, but Jesus came to free us of sin and death.
But what is sin? It means “missing the mark.” If you’ve ever lied, disrespected your parents, or thought badly about someone—you’ve sinned. We all have.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
The good news: Jesus lived a perfect life and died to take away our sins. Salvation is a free gift from God.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
“Sest teie olete armu läbi päästetud usu kaudu – ja see ei ole teist enestest, vaid see on and Jumalalt -, mitte tegudest, et ükski ei saaks kiidelda.” – Efeslastele 2:8-9
So how do you accept Jesus? It’s simple:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9-10
“Sest kui sa oma suuga tunnistad, et Jeesus on Issand, ja oma südamega usud, et Jumal on ta üles äratanud surnuist, siis sind päästetakse.” – Roomlastele 10:9-10
It only takes a bit of faith and a short prayer:
“Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins. I repent for my sins, turn away from them and accept you into my heart. Thank you for saving me.”
When you become a child of God, here are some of the “club benefits”:
- Unconditional love
God does not judge us for our sin or past, He wants to free us of it and make us new! - A new life and identity:
The bible states that after accepting Christ you become a new person – the person God originally created you to be. For example before getting saved I was very shy and did not talk much – after getting saved I became good at public talking and have done multiple speeches before hundsres of people. - Healing for pain and trauma
God healed my pain of rejection. I know He loves me. - Physical healing
When Jesus was on Earth, He spent most of His time healing people! I have witnessed multiple healings on myself and others. ‘And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. ‘Acts of the Apostles 10:38 - Strength to forgive
He helps you forgive people that have hurt you. It is scientifically proven that uforgiveness makes people sick. God helped me forgive my father, because I see that I myself am a sinner, and that I am no better than my father. - And many many more blessings that won’t ever fit in this blog post!
Thank you for reading!

Blessings & enjoy your headscarf <3!
